My apologies to those of you who check my blog from time to time. I have been real busy with work and I just moved into a new apartment which is a very time consuming activity. In the mean time I have been working on a personal piece, if feels good to say that, "Personal Piece". Its of BB King one of the blues legends. These are some earlier stages of the drawing.

ReplyDeleteVery nice my brotha. I am actually going to start a jazz/blues series myself. I will post my sketches once I get them done and then it will feel like we're working together. Glad to see working on some personal stuff. I'm going to order your book this week.
ReplyDeleteIm looking forward to seeing this painted. Maybe spice up the hand...I always use Rockwell for reference when it comes to hands. I see you are into Jason Seilers work. I did a paper on him for Paynes class and saw him at a caricature convention in 2009. I cant believe he has the same agent as payne does. Anyways good luck with your painting and hope all is well.
