I can explain

"Ok Mom I know this looks bad, but I can explain". I'm sure we've all been in this situation as a kid in one way shape or form. I wanted to do a portfolio piece from an interesting view point and well...I thought this was kind of interesting.

Bruce Batman

A good friend on mine started a website that is similar to "Drawer Geeks", but it's better (in my opinion). The first drawing subject was "Batman" and we can draw our own interpretation of what we see Batman as. So this is my piece that I submitted. The website is http://www.theartisanconspiracy.com/ and the subject for this month is "Fairy Tales". Any body with decent artwork is welcome to join and we would like to get a bigger buzz. If you would be interested you can send an email to info@theartisanconspiracy.com

BB King

This may sound far fetched but I honestly think that if your doing a portrait of a musician it helps to listen to some of their music to help get you in the right mind set and establish a feel for the best route to take while drawing, painting or sculpting the musician. I had fun with this one and ole BB King has some pretty good music.

My apologies to those of you who check my blog from time to time. I have been real busy with work and I just moved into a new apartment which is a very time consuming activity. In the mean time I have been working on a personal piece, if feels good to say that, "Personal Piece". Its of BB King one of the blues legends. These are some earlier stages of the drawing.
