The Archer

I was watching the remake of "Robin Hood" with Russell Crowe, and got the itch to draw an archer.

I can explain

"Ok Mom I know this looks bad, but I can explain". I'm sure we've all been in this situation as a kid in one way shape or form. I wanted to do a portfolio piece from an interesting view point and well...I thought this was kind of interesting.

First stages

My cousin recently received his 3rd degree black belt in brazilian Jiu-jitsu so I decided to honor his achievement with a portrait. This is painted in acrylic.
