Not much to say, just trying to stay busy.

It has been a while since I posted anything  so I thought I would show a little project that I'm currently working on. Nothing major just practicing my portraits.

I've been doing a lot of graphic design lately but still find time to squeeze in some personal projects. If only I had more time.....

I was watching the series "Planet Earth" the other day and it was really good. Seeing all of the animals and unique environments made me think of how I use to sit in my room as a kid and draw lions, wolves, snakes and anything else a little kids imagination can create. I encourage all of you from time to time to refer back to your child like state and have fun drawing whatever it is that comes to mind.

The sketch in my previous blog was sitting in the corner of my studio area and calling out to me to take it a step further. The artist in me could not deny its call so I answered with a little color.

I was watching "LA Ink" and thought that the artwork done by some of the tattoo artists seemed life like. So I did a thumbnail of a tattoo actually coming to life and that later turned into this sketch. Its a personal piece that I had a lot of fun drawing and may paint it in the near future.

I was cleaning up some files on my laptop to make some space for new work and I came across this old sketch of mine that I did for a t-shirt. It's always good to take a trip down memory lane, so you remember where it is you can from and how you got to where you are now
