I can explain

"Ok Mom I know this looks bad, but I can explain". I'm sure we've all been in this situation as a kid in one way shape or form. I wanted to do a portfolio piece from an interesting view point and well...I thought this was kind of interesting.

3rd Degree Black Belt

I finally finished the piece and gave the original to my cousin (he was speechless and thought it was a photo) and it now hangs in his office at his academy. scroll down if you would like to see some of the progress that led up to the final for this piece....comments are appreciated.

First stages

My cousin recently received his 3rd degree black belt in brazilian Jiu-jitsu so I decided to honor his achievement with a portrait. This is painted in acrylic.

Newlywed Zombies

"Zombies", this is the subject for the month of July and here is my entry. The site that hosts these monthly drawing subjects is http://www.theartisanconspiracy.com/

Bruce Batman

A good friend on mine started a website that is similar to "Drawer Geeks", but it's better (in my opinion). The first drawing subject was "Batman" and we can draw our own interpretation of what we see Batman as. So this is my piece that I submitted. The website is http://www.theartisanconspiracy.com/ and the subject for this month is "Fairy Tales". Any body with decent artwork is welcome to join and we would like to get a bigger buzz.
